Impact Report

At Erie Federal Credit Union, we are dedicated to making our communities a better place to live, work, and raise a family. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we believe that investing and reinvesting in our community is the right thing to do. It is our hope we are providing pathways to success.

To share our progress, we have prepared a 2023 Member & Community Impact Report. This impact report is intended to help you better understand what Erie FCU has done in this past year to help our members improve their lives. We also wanted to briefly highlight how we are making a difference to ensure that we remain a place where members know they can bank better, with the hope of living better.

2023 Impact Report

Highlights

  • Opened new, state of the art branch in Fairview, PA - September 6, 2023
  • 41 different organization received monetary support close to $72,000.
  • $30,000 donated to ten local food agencies & nonprofits to fight hunger.
  • Served 33,000 individuals in our community by way of outreach activities.
  • Engaged 1,500 youth in financial literacy sessions.
  • 126 volunteers provide 232 hrs. to organizations & events in 2023.
  • 520 pounds of food/cash donated to food bank to help feed more than 31,000 neighbors in Erie County.
  • $1,500 paid in pet adoption fees in 2023 at local shelters for Adopt Local initiative.
  • Provided 241 free mortgage consultations to members last year.
  • Erie FCU was recognized as “Erie’s Best Bank” - 10th straight year & voted “Erie’s Choice in Credit Unions” - 11 years running.
